A proud graduate of RA Long High School in 1959, Ruth Ann cherished the friendships she forged during her school years. She looked forward to reunions and luncheons with former classmates, enjoying the connections that enriched her life.

Her passions included traveling, shopping, and attending family reunions where she created lasting memories with those she loved. She not only cherished these moments but also embraced new experiences, often attending "cooking classes" with her friends. One of her proudest accomplishments was co-founding Hava Java coffee shop, which became a cherished gathering place for the community. Additionally, in her 60s, Ruth Ann lovingly took on the role of raising one of her granddaughters, showcasing her unwavering dedication to family.
