Nancy Lorraine Carrillo, 76, of Rochester, Wash., was born Oct. 14, 1946, in Prairie, Ark., to William and Mary (Datsun) Hulsey, and passed away Sept. 17, 2023, in Rochester.
She moved to the local area in 1981 and studied nursing. Nancy retired from private home care in 2015. She also worked as a bartender at the Broken Will Tavern in Rochester. Nancy enjoyed watching game shows, crocheting, and loved children, contributing to the raising of her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a great-great-granddaughter. She was the one who kept the family together. Nancy will be remembered for her sense of humor and her love for all. She was one of a kind.
Nancy married Dario Carrillo in Rochester. He preceded her in death in 2009.
Survivors include two sons, Timothy Lawhead and Michael Torres; a daughter, Suzette Bushnell-Capo; six grandchildren, Elisa Perez-Feist, Kamron, Caleb and Canaan Capo, Makenzie Torres-Bruns, and Mylie Torres-Allmon; seven great-grandchildren, Jesse Perez-Feist, Natali, Emeli and Anahi Perez, and Hudson, Rayven and Hendrix Capo; and a great-great-granddaughter, Ximena Perez.
A memorial service will be held next year in Ocean Shores, Wash.
