His love of square dancing wasn't just a pastime; he also took on the role of caller, helping to share the joy of this lively dance with the community. Leonard's spirit of volunteerism shone brightly as he generously devoted his time at the Mt. St. Helens Visitor Center for Weyerhaeuser and with the Stella Historical Society, where he brought history to life for many.
He is survived by his daughters, Linda McCoy, Karen Fitzsimmons (Bob), and Nancy Spraque (Dave), along with grandchildren LaRonna Lorber (Rob), Kelli Vance, Rob Fitzsimmons (Tracy), Michelle Schreiber (Mike), Melinda Wright (Josh), Shannon Cauffman (Eric), and Aaron Spraque (Jesse).
