Jeanette Lorain Francis

Loving mother and grandmother Jeanette Lorain Francis, 62, of Longview, passed away Sept. 8, 2023, at home.

She was born Nov. 3, 1960, to Stanley Wayne and Geneva Ann (Moon) Mitchell. They preceded her in death.

Jeanette married David L. Epperson in Yakima, Wash., Aug. 16, 1979. They had three sons and later divorced. She married Keith Francis in Ohio, and later separated.

Jeanette served a year in the Army and worked as a caregiver. She moved to the local area from Wenatchee, Wash., in 2008. She enjoyed playing darts, swimming, puzzles and family barbecues. Jeanette had a vibrant personality. She loved to make people laugh. Jeanette loved her family and adored her grandchildren.

Survivors include three sons, David Epperson (Lindsey), Rick Epperson, and Jerry Epperson, all of Longview; six siblings, Connie Mitchell of Wenatchee, Wash., Robert Saylor of Tacoma, wash., Jason Mitchell, Jozel Benson, and Randy Gordzelik, all of Sadler, Texas, and Steven Mitchell; 11 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

No public service is planned.

Final arrangements were entrusted to Steele Chapel at Longview Memorial Park.
