Esther M. Kimbell

Esther, a longtime resident and business owner, passed away at her Longview home with her daughter by her side.

Esther owned Jan’s Ceramics for 40 years. She was called “The Energizer Bunny” by her customers and friends as she was always on the move helping people with their projects.

Esther was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Jerry Kimbell; and a brother, Howard “Doug” Rice.

She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Jean Hendrickson, and their family; a daughter and son-in-law, Terry and Fred Olson, and their family; a sister and brother-in-law, Janet and Art Wines, and their family; and a sister-in-law, Karen Erstad and her family.

A funeral service is planned for 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 16 at Steele Chapel. Pastor Dave Hendrickson will officiate. A reception will follow in the chapel’s hospitality room. The casket will be closed.
