Angelo "Bud" Pilotti, 84, of Longview, Washington, passed away on September 30, 2026.
Bud was born on March 21, 1942, in Richmond, California, to Peter and Enis Pilotti, and grew up in Berkeley, California. He later made his home in Longview, Washington, where he built his career and raised his family. Bud worked for Weyerhaeuser for 25 years, serving as controller.
Bud was married to Sally Pilotti, with whom he shared many years and raised his family, until her passing. He later married Diane DeGraff, with whom he shared the later years of his life.
Bud was friendly, kind, and genuinely enjoyed people. Well liked by those who knew him, he was a natural storyteller who always had a story to share. He also loved a good meal, and if anyone ever asked whether he was hungry, his answer was always the same: “I can always eat!”
Bud was preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Enis Pilotti, and his first wife, Sally Pilotti.
He is survived by his wife, Diane DeGraaff of Longview; his children, Peter Pilotti of Antelope, California, David Pilotti of Chevy Chase, Maryland, and Michelle Berry of Damascus, Oregon; his sisters, Janice O'Donnell of Boulder City, Nevada, and Susan Murphy of Vacaville, California; and his grandchildren, Beatriz Pilotti, Griffin Berry, Angela Pilotti, Julian Berry, and Nico Pilotti.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on October 16, 2026, at St. Rose Catholic Church in Longview, Washington.
