Elaine Vera Peckham

Elaine Vera Peckham, 86, of Longview passed away July 9, 2021, at home.
She was born Jan. 31, 1935, in Oregon to Carlyle and Minnie (Hofenbradle) Ross, and lived in the Longview area most of her life.
Elaine married Marvin C. Peckham Feb. 6, 1954. He survives her at home. Also surviving are two daughters, Patricia Eslick (Jon) of Castle Rock and Sandra Wall of Longview; a son, Tom Peckham of Longview; six grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was greeted on the other side by her parents, two sisters and a brother.
Elaine worked as a nurse’s aide, but was also a gifted homemaker. She was creative and loved to sew, crochet, cook, can and garden. She especially loved fishing with her family. She could always find the bright side, and was known to say, “You better find something to laugh about in every situation.”
A private family service will be held in Elaine’s honor.
