Daniel Bryce Stanley

Daniel Bryce Stanley, 85, was born December 31, 1935 in Kelso, WA to Bradford and Helen Stanley and died at is home in Longview, WA on February 11, 2021.

Dan graduated from Castle Rock High School class of 54’and served in the Navy from June of 1954 to May of 1958. In 1971, he married Sandra Ann (Isaacson) Stanley. They were together 49 years. He was a logger until he retired in 2002. Later, he worked as a Golf Shop Attendant and retired from this position in 2019.

Daniel is survived by is wife Sandra; sons Mitchell Stanley of Phoenix, AZ; Thomas Stanley of Everett, WA; Jason Cowan of Longview WA; daughter Barbara Proffitt of Packwood, WA; twelve grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and dear friend Carol Hope of Castle Rock, WA.

Dan was funny, articulate, opinionated, and cerebral. He enjoyed golf, studying the bible, reading, movies, and most of all, spending time with his wife of 49 years.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Bradford and Helen Stanley; Son Robert Stanley; Daughter Cheryl Hindman; Brother Robert Stanley; Sister Jean Stanek.
